Dr. Joe Allen Cloud, M.D., is honored to ask for your vote for state representative.

Joe, 62, and his wife Cheri, have lived in Russellville for more than 31 years. He has exhibited a conservative and committed approach during his years of caring for thousands of River Valley residents and will bring this same attention and focus as he represents Russellville in the Arkansas General Assembly.

Joe and Cheri have been married for over 33 years. They have three sons: Russ and Keren of Benton, AR, Drs. Corey and Cayce of Memphis, TN, and Josh of Ft. Worth, TX. They also have 2 grandchildren, Luke and Brooke of Benton.

After completing 8 years of training at UAMS, Joe was co-owner of Russellville Women’s Clinic for 20 years before moving his Ob/Gyn practice to Millard Henry Clinic. During his 28 years of private practice in the River Valley, he was honored to deliver over5,000 babies and has participated in the care and surgeries of many patients. He retired from full-time, private practice in September of 2014.

Dr. Cloud served as Chief of Staff at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and on the St. Mary’s Board of Trustees. He also served as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and President of Millard Henry Clinic. He was a Board Member for Potter’s House Women’s Ministry. He served for 30 years as the volunteer Medical Director of Texarkana Baptist Children’s Home and was on the board of Choices Pregnancy Resource Clinic.

As an active member of First Baptist Church of Russellville, Joe is a Sunday School Teacher and Life Group Leader. He serves on the Deacon body and has been Chairman of the Deacons. He has served on the following committees: 21st Century Planning and Building, Pastor Search, Personnel, Financial Advisory, and Capital Campaign. He also enjoys singing in the choir.

Dr. Cloud enjoys traveling with his family and hanging out with his 90 year old father, Morris Cloud. He has completed several half-marathons and has officiated football for both high school and college. He enjoys target shooting and is a member of the Arkansas River Valley Gun Club.
